The American Chiropractic Association’s website, acatoday.org, states this as a definition of chiropractic, “Chiropractic is a health care profession that focuses on disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system, and the effects of these disorders on general health.”

It goes on to say, “Chiropractic care is used most often to treat neuromusculoskeletal complaints, including but not limited to back pain, neck pain, pain in the joints of the arms or legs, and headaches. Doctors of Chiropractic, often referred to as chiropractors or chiropractic physicians, practice a drug-free, hands-on approach to health care that includes patient examination, diagnosis and treatment. Chiropractors have broad diagnostic skills and are also trained to recommend therapeutic and rehabilitative exercises, as well as to provide nutritional, dietary and lifestyle counseling.”

In short, our goal is to use all of our skills and services to help you be the best you can be. Many people come to us in pain; some have been in pain so long, they look to us as a last ditch effort before resigning that they will be in pain forever…usually, these patients are astounded at the relief they find in chiropractic! Once patients are out of pain, we can focus their care on total wellness. We care about people and their pain, but our true goal is to offer wellness and holistic methods of treatments.
