Why Get Rid of Pesky Toxins?

Every part of our environment has toxins from the food we eat, the air we breathe, the water we drink and what touches our skin. But what consequence does that have on the body? Inflammation. If you stub your toe or cut your finger, inflammation is very beneficial. However, too much of a good thing can hurt. Chronic Inflammation is now linked to cancer, diabetes, depression, heart disease, stroke, and Alzheimer’s. A wide variety of causes can bring about chronic and invisible inflammation.

This infographic shares just of few of the more common toxins for our skin. Knowing what we are putting in, on and around our bodies can really be helpful. This is why we recommend reading the labels on everything we use, eat or drink. Be sure to scroll down for some healthy ways to detox.
