Angelo Golemme was 2 years old when I started noticing a pattern of terrible flu like sickness.  The doctor gave antibiotics for 10 days.  It stayed in his system 10 more days, then on day #23 Angelo would be sick all over again. After eight months of trying different antibiotics, two of which he became immune to, we went to an asthma specialist.  We were told Angelo had asthma and not being able to fight off sickness was because he was in daycare.  I found it curious that all the other kids were not sick.  The doctor told me Angelo would just be “one of those sick kids” until his body gets bigger into his teenage years.  Angelo spent every day of is 2 year old life coughing, vomiting, runny nose.
